Rotaract Club of Aruba has been organizing its anual back to school project for more than 20 years. This time was no different with the project achieving its goal of helping the less fortunate children with the necesaties to start off the new school year by enlisting the help of the community of aruba to donate school products at Ling and Sons to be able to give to the Children.
The donations are used to make back tos chool packages for the children, a total of 41 kids between the ages of 7 and 13. These kids were also invited to participate in a Fun and educational day at Philip’s Animal Garden where they received a tour of the animal garden.
The children also got to participate in face painting, games, story tellig and got to enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the Chef of Ling and Sons. The children also got a surprise vsit by the Ling and Sons Mascot “Mishell” who passed by to wish all the children a good start of the new school year.
After the tour, the children received their back to school packages consisting of a backpack, clothing, shoes and edibles to start of the new school year.
With the extra Donations Rotaract Club of aruba received from the customers at Ling and Sons, Rotaract was able to make 50 extra back to school packages to help 50 extra children in need.
Ling and Sons is proud to have been part of this project and would like to congratulate the Rotaract Club of Aruba and the community fo Aruba with another succesfull project.
